Yikes! Of course they're not in the 1.1 feature list. But work has been done, if I'm not mistaken. I would simply like to know how much work has been done.

<takes off fire-retardant suit>

I agree with you that the smart playlists will not be in 1.1.

Oh I see, some clarification is needet:

Definitions:
duration = full time of an clip, how is it uploadet
playlength = time how long an clip will be played, can be
shorter than
duration

I am talking about the playlength an item have inside an
playlist, not the
playlist itself.

In any case, we need to set an playlength for livestreams
(have zero
duration).
Compare to http://code.campware.org/projects/livesupport/ticket/12
26

I would suggest to have same possibility for audioclips, and
maybe embeddet
playlists. It makes it much easyer to fill an playlist e.g.
right to the
full hour. Also long clips or reports can be shorten this
way without
uploading tham again.

what you guys are talking about is the cue-in / cue-out
point feature,
which is a feature for 1.1.2 Upomoc, see here:

let's not jump ahead in time, and work on what's needed
for the Leon
release...
