so, it's a total / complete backup, overwriting the
previous one if it
exists?

but those people will tend to forget to save the backup file
anyway, and
their backup hard disk is going to be full in two weeks.
which will ruin
their LS system, as they won't allocate a separate HD /
partition for
this task, so they simply run out of disk space...

yes. as you have seen, it's important to specify in detail,
as my
implied thinkig, along with Tomas' was, that this would be
an
incremental backup, for example, not a complete one...
