Hi Ferenc,
it does not work yet,
it will be metadata category ls:mtime,
format by http://www.w3.org/
TR/NOTE-datetime
YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.sTZD (eg 1997-07-16T19:20:30.45+01:00)

internally: probably integer in unix time or but the string
resentation
(I have too check whats is more useful and optimal)

shortcuts: YYYY[-MM[-DD[Thh:mm[:ss[.s]]TZD]]]
(s = one or more digits)
(TZD - timezone = Z or +/-hh:mm)

this looks like ISO 8601 time to me...

is this the same as the XML-RPC time format? let's use
that, after all,
it's an XML-RPC call...

I've found this format in DC and XML-RPC specs and
according to XML-RPC
specs it is ISO 8601, but I've not look into ISO.

This is the format that the xmlrpc++ library uses:
<value><dateTime.iso8601>20050404T00:00:00</d
ateTime.iso8601></value>

Is this
http://www.xmlrpc.com/spec

the official specification? They define the date/time
format just by
giving one example??? Amazing.

At Services you will find a list of public Web Services and
specs that
build on XML-RPC. One is be UserLand/Current Time - a
interface for
Current Time

I found a example implementation of datetime: the XML-RPC
client
interface for Python

http://www.koders.com/python/fid9B9

I do not know but maybe we can learn from there experience?
