Hi Wybo,
I'm sorry for not participating lately as much as I'd like.
About the new licence, I have to say that I'm glad to be
part of this
project, and we are headed the right way.
Also I see that the AGPL and GPL thing is almost a matter
of
marketing, maybe GPLv3 not closing the loopholes leads to a
wider
adoption of the new version (like linux and others), which
would be
the less-harm situation and would let some projects keep the
GPL all
version licence and don't need to republish. Talking ethics
though,
this is not what we would expect from the greatest simbol of
freedom.
Anyway this is just IMHO.
I also would like to know what's the state of the UI, are
you working
on it Andrew? We could start working as publish early
release often
right now whichever the state of your work is... Also this
way we
could go back to the wiki and get a roadmap of what's left
to do.
Hopping to get back to LL work soon,
greetings.

Last week I wanted to write something about colors and
experiment with
some colorschemes. Unfortunately I had some other things to
do first.
*Fortunately * though, I'm working on it at the moment
Cheers

Absolution granted:
but repent and from now on change your evil ways!
(no just kidding... feel free to participate as you
please...)

Indeed, I (largely) agree with the rationale from a
non-ethical
standpoint: sometimes other interests can be balanced
against freedom
too... Still I fully went into Stallman's lane to stand a
bigger
chance of convincing him of the importance of Freedom for
the Web, and
of the consistency of this with his long-term views. Also I
do agree
with him that an ethical stance is important, and that
freedom is
important, so I didn't defend a position, which I wouldn't
want to
advocate... Web-Freedom does need more proponents. It's more
about
choice (thus morals, motivation and vision) than about truth
here...
It's about which of the possible futures we want...,

I'll try to control it, but it's a matter of balance and
without the
evil can't conceive the good!

The French translation is there:

http://foundation.logilogi.org/2007/11/29/wha
t-s-logilogi-in-french
I sent in the english version on the 25th, and now it's a
matter of
waiting to see if it's accepted.
And it's also a matter of waiting for the Digitale Pioniers
subsidy
application...
As of the 11th of december I will have more time on my hands
again
to work on Manta. One essay (for a course) to go...

Also Andrew, how's it going with the coloring ? It doesn't
need to be
perfect at the first try... Better than what I made of it
shouldn't be
too hard...
