At inclusion-time, in link-adding wizzard, link-tags are to
be
inserted just before the body-text with the link-tags is
submitted.

As the format for this I think it's best to stick with
something as
html-ish as possible, so I think an <a
href="Link_Tags/With/Slashes"></a>
seems the way to go. With a special
class="ll_link".

Currently, as long as we only allow the addition of one link
per
wizzard-round, we don't have to deal with overlapping
links.

For link-removal we can just parse them in as we would
otherwise (so
with overlap, and then with multiple links in the
href-attribute,
separated by semicolons, like
href="LinkOne;Link/Two"), and add a
special class-attribute for each link an a href is part of,
to be
able to have them blip up (get a different color) when the
user mouse-
overs the link in the list, that can be selected for
deletion.

First of all; great Miguel that you're making the pop-overs
standards-
compliant and cross-browser...

About the pop-overs & CSS in general; this might be an
interesting resource:

http://www.paulspoerry.com/i
ndex.php/2007/05/18/125-code-snippets-for-web-designers/

Especially these two:

http://www
.alistapart.com/articles/cssmaps

(uses a map and fixed positions, so probably not as
usefull)

http://w
eb-graphics.com/mtarchive/001717.php

(sadly one can't click them here and they are below)

Still there might be something to salvage here ;)

Main points with the current new popovers:
- they continue following the mouse after they're there; it
would be
nicer if they stayed put, once opened (and then the link's
popover-
opening-ability can be re-activated when they close).
- the positioning is not much right in FF 2 and the IE's...
- text is compressed inside...

Especially the last two will probably be small fixes, and
the first,
if not possible otherwise, is not that big a deal, but it
would be
nice if it were possible...

PS: I've just committed some updates to the abstracts.
Probably one
more commit this afternoon and then I send in the ECAP
abstract, with
you; Miguel as second author...

I am away for the weekend (to a hostel with some
friends...)

I'm really looking forward to the Link-pop-overs.

I also just submitted our abstract for the ECAP, and for a
smaller,
local Dutch conference called the Philosophers Rally...

greetings,
