I have no current plans of supporting X-GOOGLE-TOKEN
authentication.
But if you connect to GTalk using SSL (or TLS in 1.9 branch)
you will
also get the DIGEST authentication type.

Google just doesn't support it for unencrypted connections.

 Hi Mikael,

I am using SSL and lm is failing to connect to gtalk with
SASL (
lm-1.3.1 ) and lm-1.2.2 is able to connect to gtalk without
SASL but
with ssl.
I have put some question below:-
1. how lm-1.2.2 works with gtalk and lm-1.3.1 doesn't?

2. As you told "GTalk doesnt support unencrypted
connections" how
lm-1.2.2 is able to connect?

3.Is it possible to use digest authantication type to
connect gtalk
with lm 1.3.1 ? If yes how can we do that?

4.In LM "Ok" authantication type is not suppoted
but Lm is using
digest Auth type can we do this also for X-GOOGLE-TOKEN ?

NOTE :lm-1.2.2, gtalk is sending plaintext auth mechanish
where as with
lm-1.3.1 gtalk is sending X-GOOGLE-TOKEN

Thanks
Rakesh
