Regarding socket connect with invalid setting say - Port/Server id

Hi

I am using LM1.3.2 and testing negative conditions for socket connect.
I specify the wrong ssl port number when calling lm connection open. And I can see that I am not receiving any time outs.

I waited for around 10 mins. Also, The same behaviour happened with Invalid server id. My wait loop is hence getting hung.

What is the behaviour needed in LM?

Is there any code in LM to listen for events and if not time out?
