EmbeddedSolr was the one that I was trying to implement.
BTW, just curious, how about implementing filter query
"fq" if I gonna implement EmbeddedSolr.....any
suggestion. For example, let say I have the following form
Bird: [ x] Parrot [x ] Eagle [ ] Dove ......say I'm
looking for the articles related those two birds. How can I
search on that? Any suggestion will be appericated!!

i'm not really sure if i understand your question ... if you
are
interested in learning more about how the internals of Solr
works, then I
would suggest you start by reading the documentaiton of the
various Plugin
classes ... they'll give you a lot of insight into how
data/input flows
through Solr and will help you learn what the other key
lower level
classes are...
