I exchanged some emails with Peter Braam, in which he
recommended that I use
a SW based RAID 10 for my MDS. Peter added the comment,
>New Linux kernels have bitmap RAID recovery for power
off failures
>(eliminating a full rebuild) and you'd want to make
sure you have that.
I've recently started playing with this feature, added to
kernel 2.6.13, and
it surely is a great thing!
My question is: Are there any plans to release a version of
Lustre with
that later version of the kernel?
Thanks.
