In the discussion on address authorization, there is a
question whether the
current RCoA provisioning mechanism provides protection
against redirection
attacks. One way to accomplish that is to have the RCoA
assigned as part of
the IKEv2 SA establishment. That is described in
draft-ietf-mip6-bootstrapping-split-03.txt. Of course, if
there is some
other way to provide redirecdtion attack protection that
doesn't use this
technique, that would be adaquate too.
