Okay, thanks. That works. Using 4.2.1-sjlj. First successful
build with
1.0.11 for me after about 3 clean installs. Seems like there
has been quite
a few changes in the build process. The HOWTO definitely
needs an update.
- Use 4.2.1, 4.3.0 bombs the executables
- Install yasm for xvidcore and for building x264
- And I had to use a few prebuilt binaries off of
gnuwin32.sourceforge.net that I had trouble building in
MingW. Can't
remember now. But I think it was libpng, and I think I
used their GAWK. But
in general if you have a problem building one of the
sources listed on the
HOWTO, look at gnuwin32.sourceforge.net for a prebuilt
binary.
- Need to use GIT to download x264 now.
