Regarding item 6, I think Coach Heisman's prominence was due
more to his 16
seasons at Georgia Tech, with achievements like a record of
102-29-7, a
national title, four undefeated seasons, a 32 game unbeaten
streak and the most
lopsided win in sports history, beating Cumberland 222-0.

The sailor and the pirate:

A sailor and a pirate meet in a bar and they start to tell
each other
their sea stories.

The sailor notices the wooden leg, the hook and the eye
patch on the pirate.

-"How did you end up with a wooden leg?"

-"Well, in the middle of a huge storm, a wave threw me
overboard and
before my mates could pick me out of the water a shark bit
if off".

-"Wow! the risks you guys take . . . and what happened
to your hand?"

-"We were boarding this ship and fighting our way to
capture it and
an enemy sword cut it".

-"Ouch!, bet you're happy you survived, and what
happened to your eye?"

-"Oh . . ., well . . ., that was from a 'present' that
a passing bird
dropped on me eye".

-"Ooohh!, come'on . . ., you lost your eye due to a
'present" from a
passing bird?!"

-"Not exactly, you see, it WAS my first day with the
hook".

I'm not going after the truth of your statement, just the
significance. The
rest of the list was interesting though. Another
interesting Heisman fact: on
top of his salary, he also pocketed 25% of the gate for
football games at
Georgia Tech!
