Does anyone know just how Excel functions when you open a
file remotely
across a WAN? Does it pull bits and pieces across the wire
until it is at the
desktop where it was launched? We see the application open
but it takes
quite a while for the file to become available,
approximately 4 -5 minutes. The
WAN is a DS3 and the distance is around 45 miles. Thanks in
advance.
