Hmmm....Let's say that three billion people live in the
Western hemisphere
and that they weigh an average of 125 pounds each. That
would cause 187
million tons to hit one side of the Earth in one second.
What would be the effect? Would it knock Earth out of its
orbit? Would it
accelerate continental drift? Would it wake up the
Yellowstone Caldera?
Be concerned. Be very concerned!

This morning on CNN NASA scientist Flora Pilo, announced
that on Sunday
at 9:47 AM, a once-in-a-lifetime astronomical event was
going to occur
that listeners could experience in their very own homes. The
planet
Pluto would pass behind Jupiter, temporarily causing a
gravitational
alignment that would counteract and lessen the Earth's own
gravity. Pilo
told her listeners that if they jumped in the air at the
exact moment
that this planetary alignment occurred, they would
experience a strange
floating sensation.
