Bostonians and the French...ganging up together? Against the
Brits?
Hmmmm, anyone for a ...Tea...party

Detouring to France is just to pick up life's little
necessities
Couple of crates of decent Fitou or Medoc, some Armagnac and
Absinthe, as
well as a selection of cheeses - Reblochon, Chausse de
Moines, Bleu de
Bresse and a couple of Chevres.
In fact, I'd hang a right at Le Havre and head South
(Marseilles,
Carcassone, Orange, Nimes, Arles) and not bother with bond.

Personally, I like the "you can't get there from
here" aspect: First go to
Boston, then to Le Havre, THEN to bond. Maybe the Bostonians
and the
French
are paying for the ads...

I hope you're a good swimmer. If you narrow the trip to just
before entering
the water, and just after exiting (actually Boston to
France), then you can
see
how long Google expects the swim to take you. Divide
distance by time for an
average speed of about 5mph. This is about the speed of an
Olympic swimmer.
Never mind the distance or lack of nourishment and sleep

Now I'm afraid someone will actually try it.
