Hi,

Did you try  "vncviewer -noauto"? It works for
me.

No, I didn't... will try that next time I'm playing with it.
 (Do you  
get the screenful of garbage if you don't use 'noauto'?)

this sounds interesting and I've never tried this. What host
address
does one use to connect to mol?

enable_vncvideo:      yes     # Enable the VNC server
vnc_port:               5900       # or whatever you want

AFAIK it listens on 0.0.0.0.

You're right, this works for me too.  (Although I notice you
have to  
set enable_xvideo=no as well, otherwise vncviewer reports
that the  
screen size is zero, and quits.)
