Intro & question on "tethering"


Hi everyone,

Great to see such a big group of users here.

I recently got a 8700g and love it.  For my needs (instant
email), it
is the best device I have ever used.

A sales rep who sold me this device was talking about how he
"tethered" his 8700 to a laptop so he has
wireless access pretty much
anywhere he travels.  Has anyone else done this?  Anyone do
this with
a Mac laptop?

Looking forward to good discussions here.
