I've tried these instructions and still get authentication fail. The phone connects, but fails
authentication. Same failure with USB cable and with bluetooth.
I'm using a LG VX9900, but this should be pretty much the same as the VX9800 right?
I've confirmed 1X speed set on the phone. Is there a way to review the Pico file to make
sure it is correct? I've replaced it with a carefully retyped version already so I'm pretty sure
it's okay.
Any ideas on what could be wrong?
Thanks,
Steve

Someone posted an applescript that will disable CHAP without having
to use pico. The script is named "disablechap.scpt " an you can find
it at
