I've just signed up with Sprint and their Phone as Modem plan.
I've got a MotoRAZR V3m phone and a G5 desktop w/Bluetooth.
Sprint now says I can't use phone as a modem because they don't support Mac?
I've read that you can use a Sprint phone with Macs.
I've linked the phone with my G5 via USB cable so it shows up in iSync.
My questions are:
1. Can I use the above phone/computer setup to get online via Bluetooth?
2. If yes...then what are the steps necessary to set up the phone as a modem.
3. If yes....could a 2nd Mac (say a Macbook Pro) be able to get online at the same time via
bluetooth?

I'm on Verizon, so I can't help you with the Sprint questions. However...

If the G5 is tethered to the phone, why not just set up its AirPort to
share your connexion to the phone? That way any other machine with an
802.11 card can also share the connexion.

(The setup menu is in System Preferences => Sharing => Internet. It's
pretty easy.)

I'm kind of in the same boat as you are. I just bought a Blackberry
and they don't support Mac at at the moment. I started using a
program called Pulse to use my Mac and Blackberry with bluetooth. The
demo worked fine. When I spent money on the software I was given a
username and password.....something is wrong with one or both of
them....can't log on with the info they gave me. Really needed it
this weekend to transmit images back to the paper after a shoot.
Can't wait until my phone will work with the mac. Hope someone is
working on it.
