They'll want to put you on "dataconnect" to cover the immense amount of data the laptop
can receive. And I've heard rumors that they will notice continued excessive use and quietly
charge you for violating the non-tethering clause of the medianet agreement. That has never
happened to me but I only tether a couple of times a year on vacations. Even the more
expensive blackberry and smartphone agreements have non-tethering clauses. In the
beginning they had no way to actually check. But these days they do much more elaborate
record keeping as seen by the detailed monthly bills.
