Can anyone help me to tetheer my Nokia N75 to my iBook G4? I
followed the following instructions, but was unable to get it to
tether...
Basically.. Pair your phone to your mac via BT
Then download those scripts.. and copy the Nokia 3G CID 1 and 2 into
this folder /Library/Modem Scripts
Then open up internet Connect and select BlueTooth
I have multiple confurations so I click on the Configuration
dropdown and select Edit configs.. I add one and then Fill in the
info...
Desc: N75
telephone number: ISP.Cingular or WAP.Cingular
Account Name ISPDA%40CINGULARGPRS.COM">ISPDA
CINGULARGPRS.COM or WAP%40CINGULARGPRS.COM">WAPCINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
Modem: Nokia 3G CID1
Hit OK
And then when you want to tether (assuming BT is active on both
devices)
Just click your little modem icon and click connect(make sure your
using the right device - there is a check mark next to the config it
will use)
It will tell you its connecting..then Authenticating.. then you'll
be connected..
The problem is, The connection has failed. Please verify your
settings, and try again. Anyone experience similar problems?
