Hi, I've been using Moto e815 for the past 2 yrs. and it's been a
great phone. I have not had a single problem with it, and i loved
it's long battery time and strong reception. Well now it's time to
change my phone, and I can choose a free phone. I have no problems
with the current phone and would keep using it if I had to, but since
I can get a free phone, why not? I've been out of the loop with
phones for a while now, so I don't know which ones are good, but I
want a phone that can at least do what I've been doing with the Moto
for the past 2 years.
Basically, I want to maintain hassle free broadband data connection
with my iBook G4 through Bluetooth running Tiger via National Access.
I don't use it much, but sometimes when I go out of town, I take it
and the internet access comes in handy. From what I remember, the
Moto was quick and easy to set-up with my iBook using some generic
verizon modem script, and I want the same easy setting up with the new
phone. Also, I purchased a trans-flash memory for the e815, so it'd
be nice (not a must) if I can move it to my new phone so that it
doesn't become useless. I have noticed that most phones are microSD
now, is that the same thing as trans-flash? Also, do all Verizon
bluetooth phones still have crippled OBEX? It's not a big deal since
I worked around that using the trans-flash. Also, it'd be nice to
have a phone with a better camera than the e815 but I'm assuming since
it's been 2 yrs. that won't be a problem.
BTW, I was offered a LG VX-9400, would this be a good choice? Would I
need to find a specific modem script or does the Verizon generic
script work with all Verizon phones?
Anyways, thanks in advance.
