I have been unable to get on verizon¹s backdoor since I started using system
10 (Tiger). So...good luck. There are probably several people on this group
that can help. Goo luck

What "backdoor"? That is not the correct term.
Tethering was fully
supported by Verizon. I was told how to do it with my
previous
Verizon phone by the tech on the phone. I assume, you simply
renewed
your contract when you got your new handset from Verizon,
which
eliminated the "MOU" Minutes Only Use for data in
their new contracts.

Basically Verizon does not generally support MOU when
connected via
EVDO. You may be able to still get your MOU, if you connect
using
1xRTT, but you will have to force your phone to connect that
way.
This information may be on www.howardforums.com. Or call
Verizon and
add data services to your account.

It has nothing to do with your upgrading to MacOS X.
