VZW not working with Macbookpro

Hi:

I've been using my KPC650 Kyocera card for two years with my 17"
Powerbook. Now I just got a new Macbookpro, expectly everything to
work great. Got the new Dueladapter so the card is recognized by the
Macbookpro, and that works fine. Downloaded the VZW software and got
everything going.

But the VZW software doesn't see the Verizon signal at all. Nothing
registers.

The Verizon people did a manual connect, so everything works except
the VZW, which I need when I travel.

Verizon people say it is a Macbookpro problem. Anyone here have any
ideas?
