As of yet I have not found a suitable replacement for the old
reliable Moto v551 that allows me to tether and get online with my
MacBook.
Someone (Valerie Maples, I think, who is a GREAT resource for this
group) said something about a Nokia model but I haven't taken that
plunge.
My iPhone is nice, but it won't tether, and there are a lot of things
I wish it did better, or simply did. No spam filtering of email, no
Flash or Windows Media Player support for Safari to listen to
streaming audio from radio stations, poor phone reception. It's not
an adequate substitute for being able to tether a full-featured
computer for Internet access.
