They should be in the relevant development packages (gnome-config should be in
the package libgnome-dev, for example).
Juan, is that right, please?

What I have right now at hand is a CENTOS (which is similar to Fedora)
machine. It uses yum instead of apt-get of Debian based Linuxes (like
Ubuntu) but other than that it should be similar although sometimes the
names of the packages are slightly different.
I did:
yum search gtk
yum search gnome-dev
yum search glade
And I found:
gtk2-devel
glade2
libglade2-devel
libgnome-devel
Using yum install (or apt-get install) one can install those libraries.
Please note that in the latest HMI_GTK2 module gnome is no longer needed.
Coruscant does not include the latest version of HMI_GTK2, the one that
removes the dependency from gnome.

I am still having trouble compiling. I have reloaded
cairo-1.2.6.tar.gz
atk1.0_1.9.1.orig.tar.gz
comedilib_0.7.22.orig.tar.gz
glade-2.12.1.tar.gz
glib-2.12.7.tar.gz
gtk+-2.10.7.tar.gz
gtk+extra_0.99.16.orig.tar.gz
libglade_0.17.orig.tar.gz
pango-1.14.8.tar.gz
somewhere in the mix gtk-config and glade-config was found.
I'm working thru a problem with glib 2.12.7 having a
conflict with 2.10.3
as soon as I find this I will be back to mat-plc coruscant
compiling.
Thanks so far.
