bzr -> cvs done

Hello,

I've done the bzr -> cvs migration now.

* my "main" branch is:
http://www.
baum.com.au/~jiri/mat/mat-main
so that's the place to branch from for now.

* I've disabled CVS access; if you have stuff you still want
to check in, send
me an e-mail and I'll re-enable it (and then import just
that change).

* I still have to change the webpage &c over to the new
system.

* I'll also write up a bunch of instructions on the webpage;
for now, see the
e-mail "bzr overview" I sent in November.

Now up - see:
http://mat.source
forge.net/bzr.html

Please give me feedback (or improve it!) - I've just sat
down and written it,
so no doubt there's lots of room for improvement...

Alternately, send questions - I'll answer them and paste the
answers into the
document

Hi Jiri,

Minor detail, your previous thread title should be cvs ->
bzr done (instead
of bzr -> cvs done).

Other more important point: Now that the migration is done,
while testing I
am missing the web browsing of the repository including
blame, history and
comments that we used to have in sourceforge cvs browser.
Right now we are
only able to browse the latest files of a branch from the
bzr repositories.
Do you have any ideas on how to improve on this? I guess one
option will be
to have a bzr gui client but of course this is not as
straight forward as
doing it from a internet browser.

Regards,

Juan Carlos Orozco

Argh, yes... I hope that's the only thing that I mixed up
like that...

There is a web interface available for bzr - I've never
really used the web
interface to the CVS, so I didn't think of it. Do others use
it?

If it's wanted, I'll look into it (but probably not this
week).

I was thinking more along the lines of RSS myself (for the
log messages, so
that they can feed into Planet MAT or something), but again
- not this week.

But a lot quicker if you're browsing a branch that's on your
local disk...
I guess they each have advantages and disadvantages...
