hi there. i'd like to thank the MagpieRSS developers and
contributors
for their hard work and efforts toward the development of
the
convenient, useful software. i use it a lot, and it works
great!
i noticed that sometimes, but not always-- when testing
local web
sites in which i'm using MagpieRSS, i'll get the error:
Undefined property: MagpieRSS::$etag
(i think it's always the same error-- to be honest, i don't
pay strict
attention, realizing that the localhost environment isn't
the same as
"live, on-line" , plus MagpieRSS 99.9% of the time
does NOT give
errors when published, i typically pay it no mind)
i don't doubt that this error will go away when i publish
this page,
however as my programming capabilities are developing, i'm
beginning
to grow more curious about, for one-- OOP in PHP, and RSS,
and XML,
etc., so i'm writing in hopes that i'll learn more than just
something
about MagpieRSS, but perhaps about how "what makes
magpie tick", and
how THAT relates to the error... if that makes any sense.
;)
anyway-- no one needs to worry about coming up w/ some great
reply "to
help me learn" (not that ya would ) -- it's
mostly just to
report the "issue" and discover ways of
"dealing with it"
thanks so much!!!
