Hmm, to be honest I'm not sure what repo it came from. The
yum logs do not
say which repo the updates come from, and I do use one
non-standard repo.
However, this is a perl module that is yum-updateable, and I
merely wished
to warn other centos users (there seem to be quite a few and
I'm sure more
than one has not upgraded to Maia 1.0.1) that it appears the
newer version
is now included in the yum updates, if you happen to use a
repo that
includes it, and if they do not exclude it in their conf
file they will have
a non-functional Maia system.
The main discussions on the mailing list about Net::Server
0.90 versus
Net::Server 0.93 were a few months ago, and thus if people
run into this
problem now, that cause might not be at the top of their
list of things to
check. I know it was not at the top of my list and it
therefore took me
several hours to finally resolve the issue, thanks to Robert
for reminding
me about it.

And it has simply nothing to do with CentOS! CentOS even
does not ship
perl-Net-Server, you must use an external yum repo. So the
subject line
of your mail has some FUD factor.
