Off-topic here, but it may help:
rpm -q --qf '% % %'
perl-Net-Server

I see your good intention, though the mail subject is
misleading. The
CentOS distribution guys can not have any control over what
people
install besides the software CentOS ships itself. A valid
warning would
have been to say: attention those who use Dag Wieers
repository with
CentOS - a yum update shipping perl-Net-Server 0.93 will
break your Maia
if you use not the current or patched version.
One of the main reasons why running automatic updates
aren't really
recommended (though did understand that you updated
manually).

I didn't criticise your warning about a possible breakage
Just
wanted
to clarify things as often distributions get a bad credit
because of
such issues while such cases have very few to do with the
issue. Besides
that I was curious about your link to CPAN with the sources:
bad idea to
bypass your rpmdb on CentOS (Dag i.e. still has the old rpm
on his
server for a downgrade).
