Problems with Spanish Translation

Hello, I installed Maia 1.0.0 with LDAP authentication, after some problems with Ñ in password for authentication, solved with:

 

     changing config.php  $default_charset = "utf-8"

     /etc/php.ini à default_charset ="utf-8"

Users can logon without problems.

Now, I translate to Spanish 75% of templates.

I installed in maia/locale/es.

I change in config.php $default_display_language=221;es̶1;.

Now problems come:

If I logon in English language no problems, but If I logon in Spanish templates I get a white screen without errors, in navigation bar I see: http://maipruebas/mail/xlogin.php and if I change to http://maiapruebas/mail automatically change to http://maiapruebas/mail/welcome.php with Welcomme Message in Spanish and all work.

Another error I get in http://maiapruebas/mail/settings.php? I can see a combobox for language and I see: Espa/option where need to be Español, if I click in  “Actualizar preferencias” (“Update Miscellaneous Settings”) button I get white screen without errors, in navigation bar I see: http://maiapruebas/mail/settings.php, in English language no problems. 

Others pages in Spanish without problems.

I upgrade from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 to see if this is the problem, but no, the problem continue.

I think again the problems is ñññññ in combobox, because ñ in another place I can see well.

Please, help me because I need Spanish templates for my users.
