System configuration update problem

I'm pretty sure configtest.php came back clean, I'll check
on that tomorrow, along with the apache logs. I realized on
my way home tonight that I was narrow-mindedly focusing on
Suse/Maia, I guess I really don't have to stick to that
particular combo. I think I might be running into problems
because I'm trying to follow Stephen's guide, but that is
written for Maia 1.0.0 and I'm trying to use 1.0.1 along
with some other newer components. If it will help you out,
I will definitely stick with Suse and try to get this
resolved. I need to get this up, but I only have a half-day
tomorrow and I know that won't be enough time to try this
out on another distro I'm not familiar with.

Thanks,
Greg Beckmeyer

head at this point, so I'm not sure what other logs might
be helpful. I did step back to Suse 10.0, so PHP on this
system is at 4.4.0. I rebuilt the system once again today
and just got it back to the same point, so I'm reasonably
sure it's not just a stupid mistake or typo on my part.
Configtest.pl shows a couple modules other than DBD::PG not
installed, Crypt::OpenSSL::RSA and Mail:omainKey
s. Had some dependency problems and couldn't get them
installed but they are both for SA's optional DomainKeys
plugin so I was hoping that would be OK. At this point I
desperately need to get a new system up and running, so my
question is would I be better off stepping back to Maia
1.0.0 on Suse 10.0, or should I persevere with Maia 1.0.1?

More important, what does admin/configtest.php say?
configtest.pl doesn't have
any bearing on the web interface.

Weird that it tried to post the debug window, but there
wasn't anything in it.
There should have been more text in this line:

</scr --><!-- pt language='JavaScript'>
- --------^

I don't know what's causing this, so perseverance would be
nice. I don't think
1.0.0 is going to be any better for you...

As far as logs, I'm referring to the web server logs.
Usually named
error_log... probably /var/log/apache2/error_log or pretty
close to there.
