I had the same problems with CPAN yesterday as well. Somehow
the CPAN mirror that it used had an old index of available
modules (115 days old to be exact) so when I tried to
install Crypt::OpenSSL::RSA it was trying to get and install
an older version than the latest available, which failed.
After manually going to ftp.perl.org/CPAN I found much newer
index files and replaced the ones on my local system with
those after which it all worked fine.
I thought maybe it was something wrong at my end, but
obviously not.

Below is the source from my browser. I'm in over my head
at this point, so I'm not sure what other logs might be
helpful. I did step back to Suse 10.0, so PHP on this
system is at 4.4.0. I rebuilt the system once again today
and just got it back to the same point, so I'm reasonably
sure it's not just a stupid mistake or typo on my part.
Configtest.pl shows a couple modules other than DBD::PG not
installed, Crypt::OpenSSL::RSA and Mail: omainKey
s. Had some dependency problems and couldn't get them
installed but they are both for SA's optional DomainKeys
plugin so I was hoping that would be OK. At this point I
desperately need to get a new system up and running, so my
question is would I be better off stepping back to Maia
1.0.0 on Suse 10.0, or should I persevere with Maia 1.0.1?
Thanks,
Greg Beckmeyer

When I hit 'Update Settings', I get a popup 'Maia Debug
Window' with no information listed,
Sometimes the text that is supposed to be in the debug box
gets placed in an
html element that doesn't render properly. If you can
reproduce it, could you
either look in the source ("view source" in your
browser) or look in the server
logs to see if there's a more helpful error message?
Lately I've been battling several php5 issues, where they
made backwards
incompatible changes. :( (Thanks for nothing, php devs.)
