System configuration update problem

Hi,

I have installed Log 1.9.7 just to test it. The pop-up
window is displayed:
- when I click on [W/B List]  (not 'Stats', as I mentioned
in my previous post)
and only when W/B list is empty
- when I click 'Update Settings' from 'System
Configuration'

My configuration is:

- CentOS 4.3
- admin/configtest.php output:

PEAR::Auth_SASL 	SKIPPED: Not installed. Optional package.
If it is available,
the Net_SMTP package will be able to support the DIGEST-MD5
and CRAM-MD5 SMTP
authentication methods. Otherwise, only the LOGIN and PLAIN
methods will be
available.

PEAR::Net_POP3 	OK: 1.3.6
PEAR::Log 	OK: 1.9.7
IMAP library 	OK: 2001
LDAP library 	OK
MCrypt library 	FAILED: Not installed, but only required if
you want to be able
to encrypt the mail stored in Maia's database (quarantine
and ham cache). See
this page for more information about downloading the MCrypt
extensions to PHP,
and instructions for recompiling PHP with the --with-mcrypt
flag.
BC math library 	OK
gd graphics library 	OK: bundled (2.0.28 compatible)

- theme 'Desert Sand'
- tested with both Smarty libs 2.6.12 and 2.6.14

Please note that PHP version is php-4.3.9-3.15, CentOS
standard RPM.

Switched back to Log 1.9.3 and the problem is gone.

AHHA!  I got it.

First, I found some dumb code from an old style of debug
logging that should not
be there.  I ripped it out.  Now I can reproduce your
behavior,sort of, except I
get a nice error report now, and I have the opposite effect;
1.9.7 works
correctly now.  Probably a conflict between the old and the
new reporting styles.

Anyway, https:/

Ouch!  I'll make a ticket and look into this next.  In the
meantime, I think I
need some people to test these changes in trunk to make sure
it behaves better.
