I am currently researching using Maia as a solution for our SPAM problem at my place of work. We have about 400 mailboxes on Exchange 2003, many of the mailboxes have two smtp addresses. domain1.com"> userdomain1.com and domain2.com">userdomain2.com. Can Maia put all the junkmail that arrives for both domains under one Maia account? I would not want the users having to check two different accounts for mail caught in Maia.

thanks

Sure, you can use the address-linking feature to place the
ownership of
both addresses under the same user's Maia account, so that
they get
merged into a single quarantine/cache. This can be done
either by the
superadmin (via the Admin->Users page) or by the users
themselves (via
their Settings page, if you've enabled address-linking on
the System
Configuration page).

If the number of users you need to do this for is relatively
small, you
can probably do it for them yourself as the superadmin, but
it will get
tedious if you have to do this for dozens or hundreds of
users. In that
case you might be better off just telling your users how to
do the
address-linking themselves, so that those who do have two
addresses can
add and link their secondary address and save you the
trouble.
(Basically, after they login with their primary address,
they go to
their Settings page and supply the address and password
information for
the secondary address and press the "Add E-Mail
Address" button.)
