Not strictly a MM relayed question but..............
I am running a mail server using MM on a SuSE 10 system. I have configured a secondary backup mail server with a basic SA/Clam/Amavis setup. I have a transport map that sends the mail from the secondary to the main server where it is processed and sent to my imap server. As long as postfix is running on my primary server this all works fine. Since I have spam and virus scanning on the backup mail server I would like to relay the mail to the imap server (Dovecot) without going through MM. Is it possible to have Postfix transport the mail to a remote imap server without having a local MTA?
Thanks
