gocr & process-quarant take a lot of cpu

What can I do to reduce the load on the system? Gocr and process-quarant are taking up a lot of cpu amavisd is contending with those two processes then mail gets backed up in the queue = people are complaining that email is taking too long to get to them.

How often should I have process-quarant run?
