Thread: Call to undefined function: getresponse()

Call to undefined function: getresponse()

Hello all,

When rescuing false positives, or flagging false negatives,
I receive the
following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getresponse()
in /var/www/mailguard/smtp.php on line 150

I searched the Pear source tree, and can't seem to find any
reference to
that function. Was it removed at some point? Is this a
known issue with
Mailguard?

Pardon my ignorance if this is clearly stated
somewhere...and thank you in
advance.

Hmm, we're supposed to be using PEAR for all SMTP stuff; the

existance of that file makes me suspect it was not all
eradicated.

I'll look at this in the morning.

Ok, I was just too tired. smtp.php is a Maia file that runs
the PEAR
code.

That code runs fine for me; I don't think they have removed
it from
Net_SMTP. It's documented at:
http://pear.php.net/manual/en/package.networking.n
et-smtp.net-
smtp.getresponse.php

Note, it's supposed to be getResponse() with a capital R...
your
original message had it all small case.
