Disclaimer: I'm not sure which layer of software this
addresses, so I'm starting
with Maia and will work further down, if necessary.
Our whitelists/blacklists only work if the email is sent to
a recipient with the
primary domain. We use virtual domains on our server, too
and whenever someone
receives email to a virtual address, their whitelists aren't
being picked up,
even if I have those addresses in their settings.
For example, let's say our primary domain is example.com and
I have a virtual
domain called another-example.com. Then I have my email
address
jason example.com and then I have a virtual alias for
jason another-example.com
go to my 'jason' account.
We're using Postfix as our MTA and when I receive an email
to
'jason another-example.com', it tweaks the headings such
that:
>From - Mon Oct 30 14:38:44 2006
X-Original-To: jason mail.example.com
Delivered-To: jason mail.example.com
To: jason another-example.com
Subject: test
And then when it shows up in Maia Mailguard, it sees the
'To' as
'jason mail.example.com'. I have 'jason mail.example.com' and
'jason another-example.com' setup in my list of addresses in
the settings page,
but for some reason it's not pulling the whitelist/blacklist
settings.
This is Maia 1.0.0 RC5 - will upgrading fix this?
Thanks!
Jason Purdy
