issue with releasing spam

When I look at a quarantine, I see two messages that were
mis-marked, 
when I try to relase them I get the following message:


550 Failed to connect to SMTP server: Failed to connect
socket: $addr 
cannot be empty 550 Failed to connect to SMTP server: Failed
to connect 
socket: $addr cannot be empty 13 suspected spam items were
confirmed.



any thoughts?

I would venture to guess that you didn't define a downstream
SMTP server
and/or port under the System Configuration -> Paths &
Ports section.
