It looks like you have the username for
the database incorrect in maia.conf



Can you log into mysql from the console?



Mysql –u username -p

when I run: spam:~ #
/var/spool/amavis/maia/scripts/configtest.pl



This is what I get:  

DBI
connect('maia:localhost:3306','amavis',...) failed: Access denied for user
'amavis''localhost' (using password: YES) at
/var/spool/amavis/maia/scripts/configtest.pl line 511

Can't connect to SQL database at /var/spool/amavis/maia/scripts/configtest.pl
line 511.





I have check nearly all configs but must be missing something.
