blank login screen

after installation described in http:/
/www.maiamailguard.com/maia/wiki/Install i
have a blank login screen.

configtest.pl and configtest.php seems fine.

what i did.
1. setting folder permissions (chmod -R themes)
2. setting include_path = ".:/usr/share/php" in
php.ini
3. turned on loggin in config.php

still blank screen, no popups, nothing in php.log. strange!

system: debian 3.1
apache: 2.0.54
php: 4.3.10-18
maia: 1.0.1

any ideas?

The debug code changes mentioned in that FAQ are in the
current  
trunk; if you want to try the svn version, you can see if
that's an  
issue.   The trunk is just about ready to release as 1.0.2
