comments on proposed roadmap

I was just reading a recent post on the website regarding a
1.0.2 
release, trunk, 1.1 etc.

Here are my thoughts.

I think that 1.0.x should be branched with bug fixes only
applied to 
that branch.  New development should continue in trunk. 
Trunk should be 
thought of as non-stable at most times.  When a stable point
is reached, 
create a 1.1 branch and eventually a 1.1.0 tag.

There are probably others who have used svn more extensively
than I, but 
this seems to work well for many projects.
