It seems highly improbable that a message would make it
through
SpamAssassin and have a score of exactly zero, with no rules
at all
tripped (positive or negative), so I think something must be
wrong.
This is a brand-new setup for my wife and me of 1.0.2 . I
have been
using 1.0.1 at work with a thousand times larger user base
without
seeing this.
I know I can turn on verbose logging in amavisd and possibly
diagnose
what is going on that way, and I'll do that if I have to,
but this is
such a striking thing that I'm hoping someone has seen it
before and can
save me some time.
In the ham cache, there are a dozen or so messages with
small positive
scores (but not enough to cause it to be classified as
spam), and then
the majority of the messages in my ham cache have a score of
0, and
looking at the messages in a window shows no SA rules at all
tripped.
All these messages really are non-spam, so the system is
filtering as it
should so far, but I'm concerned that something is probably
wrong that
will bite me eventually.
The messages in the spam cache look more normal, with scores
above 10
and a reasonable rule list.
