password auto-issue problem

Sorry for being dumb, guys, but my crooked hands are not
guilty now.
I was testing the feature of auto-creation of new users and
password
auto-issue. It worked for a couple of times and then when I
attempted to
configure the real domain it stopped. This is an excerpt
from the log file:

TROUBLE in check_mail: mime_decode-1 FAILED: Maia:
[issue_password] Unable
to open newuser.tpl

What's wrong with newuser.tpl? Since I copied the template
directory to 
/var/amavisd/maia/templates I didn't change anything. The
owner of templates
directory is vscan. (I rum amavisd using vscan user)

You didn't specify the OS, but on Red-hat like distros, the
webserver user
needs access to newuser.tpl, not just the vscan user.
