Thread: address_rewriting_type (newbie)

address_rewriting_type (newbie)
country flaguser name
United States
2007-02-20 20:55:03
first time installation...
postfix+mysql semicustom setup.

how do I setup the address_rewriting_type when the MTA sends
it already
rewritten?
Or how would I setup maia for this?

userdomain.tld domaintoken+usermailboxserver.doamin.tld

ie:
sergiowinc.net is re-written as winc+sergiotao.winc.net before it sends
to amavisd

Thanks

Thanks David for your input, I have read that several times
even before I
posted and failed to see how to set the
$address_rewriting_type.
I can not use option 2. Mailguard needs to handle the
address.

the point was, change it so that your rewriting takes place
after Maia gets
ahold of the message. Then it looks like a normal email
address.
