Thread: Exchange server via pop3

Exchange server via pop3
country flaguser name
United States

Is there a way to have Maia authenticate against Exchange
Server via
POP3 using only the username portion of the email? I can
telnet to the
Exchange box on 110 or 143 and manually authenicate a user
so I know it
works. The problem is that Exchange only wants the username
not the
entire email address. None of the address rewrite methods
seem to do this.

I thought type 0 was supposed to do that.

If it does, then something else is going on. Logins fail
with type 0 and pop3 or imap. Is there any way to see what
is being sent to Exchange?
