Maia is a branch of amavis not a patch.  The way I approach it is if you are running 1.0.2 you have the latest version of amavisd-maia.

is there any new amavisd-maia for amavid 2.4.4. for me it seems that 
the
one in 1.0.2 is a bit outdated:-( the best would be a diff to amavid 
2.4.4.
