You can (and should) safely upgrade to the latest version
of
SpamAssassin.  Upgrading SpamAssassin will not affect the
training that
has already been performed.

If you are concerned that your Bayes database may have been
poorly
trained by an earlier version of SpamAssassin, you can use
"maiadbtool.pl --clear-bayes" to erase it and
start fresh, but usually
this is not necessary unless the Bayes database is in /very/
bad shape.
