I am brand new to Maia and working through the installation
Doc. I have
gone through step 8 authentication area without problem. I
left the
default auth of internal, but the init script complains of
permissions
when access newuser.tpl. I've tried everything including
putting the
entire path of '/var/amavis/maia/templates/newuser.tpl'. I
am running
FreeBSD 5.4 with an already working Postfix+Amavisd+SA
setup.
esmtp# ls -lah /var/amavis/maia/templates/
total 12
drwxr-xr-x 2 vscan vscan 512B Apr 23 15:01 .
drwxr-xr-x 4 vscan vscan 512B Apr 23 15:01 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 vscan vscan 2.4K Apr 23 15:01 digest.tpl
-rw-r--r-- 1 vscan vscan 857B Apr 23 15:01 newuser.tpl

My config shows a problem with PEAR DB.php, but I found a
posting that
mentioned this could be ignored. I am running
postgresql-server-8.1.3
and currently storing amavisd logs there.
When I run init script, internal-init.php, I fill in the
form and see
this in the HTTP logs, I even tried chmod 777 the files. My
amavisd.conf
daemon user and group are 'vscan':
[Tue Apr 24 17:29:11 2007] [error] [client 70.110.70.43]

to open stream: Permission denied at
/usr/local/www/data/maia/internal-init.php line [178]n,
referer: http:
//esmtp.webtent.net/maia/internal-init.php
Did I miss something that needs to be done in Apache? Or,
can someone
suggest what I need to do here?
